Worldbeat pop with a blend of rock, jazz and ethnic rhythms by French singer/songwriter Eric Vincent. Eric's songs contain elements of folk and rock as well as rhythms reflecting his travels in Africa and the Caribbean. He is often considered one of the best contemporary singers in the French tradition of song "la chanson francaise." Songs like "Bwana, Bwana", his tribute to Botswana, and "Haiti Kimbe Fo'" a statement of solidarity for that troubled land, reflect Eric’s interest and compassion. The comical "Dear John Letter" Eric shows off his lighthearted mastery of the art of puns. Eric even put out an album of many familiar James Taylor signature tunes adapting them to his own brand of witty, socially introspective, and insightful lyrics.

Weds, October 25th at Noon
