WUMB HAPPENINGS
2.8.10 | Join us Friday -- Under the Covers!
Imagine The Mammals covering Nirvana or Catie Curtis (pictured) covering a song from Morphine. Those are the kinds of treats that we’ll have for you on Friday as we celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early with Under The Covers. All day long we’ll feature nothing but covers done by your favorite WUMB artists. Click here for more details about these and other WUMB specials this week.
2.5.10 | An interview with Diane Paulus this Wed - you can be in the audience!
Join us this Wed, Feb 10th at 6pm at the Brattle Theater in Cambridge for a Commonwealth Journal interview in front of a live-studio-audience with Diane Paulus. Recently appointed as artistic director of the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Diane is an award-winning director of opera and theater. Under her leadership, the A.R.T. has developed a new focus that seeks to include the audience's total theater experience. Info and tix here.

We've combed through the WUMB music library and came up with a selection of folk and acoustic songs for you to enjoy - about love. You can listen on your computer whenever you want, 24 hours a day! More info here.
1.23.10 | Band Together to help Haiti
Everyone at WUMB has been deeply saddened by the disaster in Haiti. Our heart goes out to those in our community with friends and relatives in Haiti. We know our listeners have been moved by the news, too. Donations of water, clothes and emergency funds are being collected by various organizations in the greater Boston area and nationally. We've gathered some options on how we can all “band together” to help, which you can find on this special web page we've built here
