WUMB Acoustic Music Camps

SAMW 2017 Reunion

In spite of the winter weather, 102 SAMW alumnae attended the Annual SAMW Meetup and Jam at the Grotonwood Conference Center in Groton, MA on Sunday afternoon, January 8.  A great day of re-connecting and sharing food, conversation and music was capped with a fantastic concert from our own Sloan Wainwright!  Registration is strong for both this year’s Winter Weekend and for both weeks of SAMW; watch for new and exciting opportunities in the WUMB Acoustic Music Camps program coming this year!

Winter Acoustic Music Weekend is right around the corner!

Looking for a unique gift to give someone?  Or how about a personal retreat after a busy holiday season?

WUMB will host the fifth annual Winter Acoustic Music Weekend, February 17-19, 2017, at the Grotonwood Conference Center in Groton, MA.  Send yourself and/or someone you love to this “hands on” New England acoustic music retreat where you and they will enjoy a full schedule of classes, concerts, and great guided and freestyle jams sessions, plus the camaraderie of spending a weekend with fellow folk enthusiast and world class players and instructors.

Lodging and meals are included.  The camp is in a beautifully wooded area about an hour northwest of downtown Boston.  The food is hearty and the desserts are legendary!

For all the details and to reserve your gift, visit wumb.org/samw or call 617-287-6915.
