WUMB November Program Guide

WUMB Music Camps Spotlight: Trina Hamlin!

Do you know about Trina Hamlin? If not, you have been missing out on some great music! Trina is one of the more recent additions to the WUMB Music Camps family of instructors, and boy, does she bring a lot to the table. A celebrated singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and a sought-after side player and accompanist, Trina brings all of those skills plus her training in professional music and her excellent teaching skills to our Summer Acoustic Music Week 2, August 19-25 at Geneva Point on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Trina’s reputation as a blues harp player has brought her acclaim and collaborations with many artists, including a long association with Susan Werner. This year at SAMW Trina will be teaching both a beginning and an intermediate-level harmonica class, so if you’ve ever wanted to learn to play the harmonica this is your opportunity!

And finally, Trina is a ton of fun! Her warmth, her wit and her enthusiasm for music and teaching all make her a perfect fit for the WUMB Music Camps. Read more about Trina on the SAMW website, and if learning harmonica in a beautiful setting with other folk music enthusiasts and a full slate of world-class musician/instructors sounds like a good vacation option to you, register online or call Patty at 617-287-6915 to reserve your spot.

And if harmonica isn’t your instrument, check out all of the other instructors and classes offered at both of our 2018 SAMW weeks. Don’t delay — spaces are almost filled!
