10/20 – This week in 1969, “Is Paul dead?” was the question millions of fans all over the world were asking
10/27 – On Oct 26th The Beatles received one of Britain’s highest honors, the M.B.E. Award

Celtic Twilight
10/7 – The Child Ballads. This month we will explore some of the 305 traditional ballads anthologies by Francis James Child in the late 1800’s. This week, we will look at ballad themes of Riddles and of Romance, with recordings by: Dick Gaughan, Jean Redpath and The Outside Track
10/14 – This week, on our Child Ballads exploration, we explore the themes of Murder Ballads and Dark Ballads, with artists Steve Tilston & Maggie Boyle, Nuala Kennedy and Planxty
Oct 21– The Child Ballads continued. We examine the themes of Heroes and Outlaws, songs recorded by Old Blind Dogs, The House Band and Emily Smith
10/28 – This week we examine the Child Ballads dealing with the themes of Superstition and the Supernatural with artists Sandy Denny, Martin Carthy, Kate Rusby and Christina Hewatt

Week of 10/1 – Time Out of Mind was released this week in history
Week of 10/8 – Dylan on Tour. We’ll talk about where and what he was playing this week in history
Week of 10/15 – Columbia Records released The Witmark Demos this week in 2010
Week of 10/22 – New Morning was released this week in 1970
Week of 10/29 – Bob Dylan Live 1964 at Philharmonic Hall…his Halloween Concert is featured all week
