WUMB November Program Guide

So, Maybe NOW It’s Spring…?

–  hello again, pretty sure I mentioned in my last missive that I was excited for Spring to arrive, but…it never came, a tease here or there, so hopefully this month? please? so, a lot on hand this month as far as Highway 61 goes: this first weekend (4/6) we’ll be focusing on the music of the legendary Muddy Waters as well as Stephen Stills’ personal drummer for a while, part of CSN&Y briefly also, Dallas Tayloron Saturday the 13th it’s all about Lowell George and Dusty Springfield for starters, and on the 20th our focus will be on two of the great producers from back in the day, Paul Rothchild and Jack Nitzsche…those last two weeks we’ll also devote the 10A hour to H61 Guest DJs to strut their stuff, I always look forward to hearing and seeing listeners’ take on the fertile 60’s and 70’s…and last but not least, as suggested by an H61 listener, four hours of live performances from the 60’s and 70’s, so if you have anything you’re dying to hear that was recorded and released live back then simply e-mail me your suggestion(s) at albert.o@wumb.org…until next time!
