Folk Tales Celebrates Pete Seeger

Folk Tales bookends January with Pete Seeger tributes, honoring the legendary folksinger’s 101st birthday, January 27. On the 4th, a Pete Seeger Birthday Special, including a revealing look at how he got the whole world singing along. January 11, Folk Tales toasts Linda Ronstadt’s genre-trotting career, and on the 18th, the “Mother Of the Blues,” Ma Rainey. January 25, we air Part 1 of our Folk Tales Pete Seeger Hootenanny, recorded live at the Burren Pub, with Alastair Moock, Danielle Miraglia and Dinty Child––though Alastair’s 11 year-old daughter Clio stole the show with a rousing “If I Had A Hammer.” What hootin’ hootenanny it was.
