WUMB November Program Guide

Well it’s certainly a unique time out there….I hope you’re safe and healthy these days. It has most certainly been a unique few weeks. I’ll try and catch you up as quick as I can….

We started our Spring Fundraiser on March 13th and it’s safe to say the news has been a little strange since then. We decided to end our Fundraiser early so that we could be here as companion for everyone. With that, we ended early and came up short during our Fundraiser. If you didn’t get a chance to pledge you can always do it through our website at wumb.org.

But with that being said, we are still here. I’m so proud to have a staff like we have at WUMB because these Hosts continue to come in to do their shows while the rest of us are being told to stay home. We’ll continue to be here as the news develops providing you what we always do, a welcome distraction from the noise. We’ll continue to feature great music from the past and present, new and local music and more. Thanks for your continued support!

A couple of our shows will be doing “Best Of’s” during this time period for a number of reasons, and those include Breakfast with the Beatles and Folk Tales. Both shows will continue to be heard and we’ll get back to airing new episodes as soon as we can.

Also Rob Hochschild will be out for a bit on Sunday Morning Brew from 8am-Noon each Sunday. Perry Persoff will fill in until Rob is back.

That’s all for now. Continue to stay safe, and know that we’ll continue to be here for you going forward!
