Much Ado About July on H61

-hello again from H61-land as we s-l-o-w-l-y return to so-called normalcy, seems like we just ‘spoke’ via this newsletter days ago, seemingly, even though we supposedly have more time on our hands, the days, the year, is flying by…

-the first Highway 61 of the month of July lands, and I think for the first time as long as I’ve hosted H61, on the Fourth of July…so…Independence Day songs aplenty (thanks for your input and suggestions), not to mention the birthdays of Robbie Robertson and Ringo for starters…

-the weekend of the 11th is one of THOSE weeks when it comes to birthdays to fete: Woody & Arlo Guthrie, Jim/Roger McGuinn, Christine McVie and Linda Ronstadt, also Mavis Staples and Lee Hazlewood among others…

-things calm down for the next two weeks: on the 18th we’ll pay special attention to Bernie Leadon and Dion DiMucci, the 25th brings us a fella named Mick (Jagger) as well as the guitar prowess of the late Mike Bloomfield…

-and in closing…we can’t thank you enough for first and foremost, simply listening and tuning in, but your continued mental and monetary support as well…

~ I’m Albert…until next time…
