WUMB March Program Guide

Groundhog Day Music Forecast!

-hello once again! hard to believe it’s February already! I’m writing this on Groundhog Day from the South Shore where we luckily got no snow at all from the massive Nor’easter as opposed to most, just a basement full of water…

-so…once again (and it always surprises me) another great month of music forecast for February ’21 starting with the weekend of the 6th: Al Kooper, Carole King, Tom Rush and Bob Marley for starters… on the 13th expect a lot of Eric Andersen & Tim Buckley, two romantic songwriters born on Valentine’s Day, 1941 and 1947 respectively…we’ll also dip into the H61 V-Day library for a smattering of appropriate songs so if there’s a track that’s near and dear from the 60’s and 70’s don’t hesitate to shoot me that suggestion at albert.o@wumb.org

-next to the weekend of the 20th: Buffy Sainte-Marie, David Geffen and David Cohen/Blue will be featured among others, and on the 27th it’s all about George Harrison, Johnny Cash and John Fahey to get things started, and we’ve pinned down a specific date for the first of our all 1972  broadcast which is the first weekend of March, so again, your suggestions are encouraged via albert.o@wumb.org

-that’s all I got…as usual thanks for listening, and thanks for supporting all this monetarily…

~ I’m Albert…until…next…time…
