Would you like to be able to figure out how Blind Montana Driveway played “Spewin’ the Blues” on that rare Earwax recording of 1925?  Or how Richard Thompson played “1952 Vincent Black Lighting” on his Rumor and Sigh CD in 1991?  In Guitarchaeology, we’ll learn about the signs and cues that lead us to what tuning and position a recorded song was played in regardless of the pitch of the original recording or capo position, as well as what chord variations the artist used and what they were doing with their picking hand.  We’ll learn to recognize the relationships between strings in different positions and tunings, how to identify chords and tunings by focusing on bass patterns and common figures on the treble strings.  Int.
