Students should have at least some minimal finger-picking experience. You will need a bottleneck slide of any material. Make sure it fits comfortably over the pinky of your fretting hand.
Session 1 – basic bottleneck slide techniques and open tunings with a few open-tuning arrangements, working from simpler tunes to a more intermediate level.
Session 2 – more techniques and standard tuning for solo and accompaniment playing. Some open tuning bottleneck playing and string-muting chops required, but you needn’t have attended the first session.
