The WUMB Leadership Circle

WUMB is supported by thousands of members every year, and we appreciate each contribution.

Some of our members choose to donate at a higher level. We call this group the WUMB Leadership Circle.

The commitment of these individuals grows from a dedication to the mission and values of WUMB. They are philanthropic investors who view WUMB as an important cultural asset worthy of significant support. Their generosity enables WUMB to expand its vision, develop new programs, and employ cutting-edge telecommunications technologies that will better serve the WUMB community. In return, members receive a sense of fulfillment that comes from being able to make a difference in preserving folk and other unique music, and public radio programming in the greater Boston area and beyond via the Internet.

The WUMB Leadership Circle was created to thank individuals who make annual, outright, cumulative contributions of $1,000 and above. It represents the single most important source of annual gift income to the radio station.

You can join WUMB's Leadership Circle at the following levels:

Golden Circle
$1,000-$2,499

• A CD each month chosen by the WUMB Staff or a CD every other month and a WUMB Windbreaker jacket
• Invitation for two to attend an annual Leadership Circle reception to meet WUMB announcers and staff;
• Private tour of the station (by your request);
• Receive invitations to occasional exclusive Leadership Circle events in select cities,
• Recognition in WUMB and UMass Boston Annual Report (with your permission).

Producer
$2,500-$4,999

• All of the above plus one WUMB Day Sponsorship - share a personal message with three on-air credits on one days of your choice;
• WUMB pewter lapel Pin;
• Access to WUMB's library of station-produced interviews.

Broadcaster
$5,000-$9,999

• All of the above plus join a music host during his/her show
• Receive annual updates on the impact of Leadership Circle investments in helping to sustain the station

Director
$10,000-$24,999

• All of the above plus an invitation for a private lunch with a WUMB Program Host
• Opportunity to schedule "back-stage" tours of member stations or meet staff & tour facilities of nationally-produced programs while traveling

Engineer
$25,000+$49,999

• "Behind-the-scenes" tour of NPR studios in Washington (date to be mutually agreed upon).

Manager's Circle
$50,000+

• Recognition and experiences for major investors in our Manager's Circle will be tailored to your interests.
